Why Clean Your Screens?
Because looking at the world through a screen full of bug guts is so chic! Regularly cleaning your screens restores proper airflow, allowing you to enjoy fresh breezes and a well-ventilated home.
Your Screen Cleaning Arsenal
The necessary supplies: bucket, mild soap, brush, water, microfibre cloths; optional: vacuum cleaner with brush attachment and garden hose or spray bottle.
Prep Your Screens
Check for any tears or damage before cleaning.
Step 1: Dusting the screens with a cloth or a vacuum cleaner
Using a vacuum cleaner with a brush or a kitchen cloth, remove the loose dust and debris. This helps prevent making mud when wet cleaning.
Step 2: Scrub Gently
Mix mild soap and water in a bucket. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub the screen, focusing on areas with dirt or insect residue.
