Start with a mix of garden soil, compost, neem oil, diatomaceous earth, and vermicompost. These ingredients will give your chillies the nutrients they need and lead to a plentiful harvest.
Chillies love sunlight. They need about 6 to 8 hours of direct sun each day. Make sure they get plenty of light, like their daily energy boost, to grow strong and spicy.
Water deeply but don’t overdo it. Keep the soil moist, not soaked. Remember, chillies don’t like standing in water; they hate wet roots.
Birds are also curious about your chillies. Sometimes, they peck at the pods, causing trouble. To keep them away, it’s smart to use some clever protection.
